More than 30 youth organizations came together under Global Youth Voices to issue a common position ahead of the Tenth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
The statement called for stronger action on addictive products, tobacco industry interference, misleading narratives around harm reduction and sustainability, environmental harm and financial accountability.
It marked an important step toward a more coherent global youth policy agenda—bringing different organizations together behind shared demands directed at governments and the WHO FCTC Conference of the Parties.
